Types, Procedures and Characteristics of Self-Sourced R&D Projects:

 

TÜBİTAK (TEYDEB, ARDEB)

 

Procedures

  • Starting, modifying and closing a project is subject to TUSAS and TUBITAK approval under TUSAS Internal Processes.
  • Project planning and Project Proposal is created by the relevant TUSAS department and the University.

 

Characteristics

 

For Types of Support for Project Budgets Owned by the Unversity:

  • The upper budget limit in TUBITAK TEYDEB 1505 projects is 1 Million TL and the maximum timeframe is 24 months.
  • The upper budget limit in TUBITAK ARDEB 1003 projects is 2.5 Million TL and the maximum timeframe is 36 months.
  • The upper budget limit in TUBITAK ARDEB 1003 projects is 200 Thousand TL and the maximum timeframe is 18 months.

 

In Other Support Types, TUSAS owns the project budget and the University is paid according to its share of work.

 

European Union Projects (H2020, Cleansky etc.)

 

Procedures

  • Starting, modifying and closing a project is subject to TUSAS and the European Commission approval under TUSAS Internal Processes.
  • Project planning and Project Proposal is created by the relevant TUSAS department and the University.

 

Characteristics

  • Projects are based on calls.
  • The University takes part in a project as a consortium member.
  • The European Commission allocates budget to the University based on its share of work.
  • 100% of the university's budget expenditures are covered by the European Commission.
