ŞİMŞEK ŞİMŞEK

Being an indigenous Design and Development program, ŞİMŞEK High Speed Target Drone System program was initiated in 2009 to meet the increased training requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF).

System will meet the requirements of high speed target drone simulating enemy aircraft and missiles for air to air, ground to air, anti-aircraft gunnery and missile systems’ tracking and firing trainings. Open architecture design of ŞİMŞEK High Speed Target Drone System can be modified with respect to end user requirements.

FEATURES
Take-off and control from ship

Şimşek systems are aerial vehicles that can be deployed to ships for missions over the sea and fly in all types of simulated air threats against ships to enable effective air defense for ships.

Structure produced with advanced composite technologies

Şimşek systems are aerial vehicles that can be deployed to ships for missions over the sea and fly in all types of simulated air threats against ships to enable effective air defense for ships.

Jet Engine System

High acceleration and wide flight envelope with jet engine.

Radip deployment and outdoor operations compatibility

With portable systems, it can carry out missions anywhere users need. Offers effective service with precise planning, quick deployment and installation.

IR Signature Augmenter (Hot Nose) payload

By increasing its IR radiation, it is made easier for IR warhead weapons and sensors to detect the Şimşek aerial vehicle. This supports IR warhead weapons and sensors testing and training.

Active RKA enhancer

The Şimşek aerial vehicle enables enhancing the radar cross-section area in a wide frequency band and modifiable dimensions. It covers 5-18 Ghz band.

Passive RKA enhancer

The Şimşek aerial vehicle enables enhancing the radar cross-section area in a fixed frequency band and fixed dimensions.

Miss Distance Indicator

The Şimşek aerial vehicle, in fires shot at it, can measure the direction of the bullet or missile in relation to itself and at what distance it passes by.
