LANDING GEAR DROP TESTS

Landing Gear Drop Test Infrastructure is a specialized system with an adjustable drop weight of up to 7 tons and a wide height range to test the impact behavior of different landing gear types. The drop platform is equipped with 3-axis load cells.

A computer-controlled data acquisition system and adaptable instrumentation such as an accelerometer and displacement sensor, along with an automatic tire rotation device, allow testing of realistic landing scenarios.
