Mehmet Demiroğlu earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University before pursuing both his master's and doctoral degrees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He started his career as an Aerospace Engineer at Eskişehir Air Supply Center and later worked as a Project Engineer at Advanced Innovative Technologies.
Between 2001 and 2004, he served as a Project Manager at Pro/Solutions International, followed by a role as a Design Engineer at the GE Global Research Center. Subsequently, Demiroğlu held various engineering positions at GE Energy Storage and GE Energy. In 2012, he founded GRTC and assumed the role of CEO.
After serving as R&D Director and Assistant General Manager at BMC Power, he held positions as Turboshaft Program Director and R&D Director at TEI. Following his tenure as President of the Turkish Aerospace Academy from 2021 to 2022, he assumed the role of Executive Vice President for Helicopters.
Since June 11, 2024, he has been serving as the President and CEO of Turkish Aerospace, following the decision made at the 2023 Ordinary General Assembly meeting.
