After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yıldız Technical University, Mehmet Demiroğlu, PhD completed his master’s and doctoral studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States. 

Between 2001 and 2004, he served as a Project Manager at Pro/Solutions International, followed by a position as a Design Engineer at the GE Global Research Center. He also held various engineering roles within GE Energy Storage and GE Energy.

In 2012, Demiroğlu founded GRTC, where he served as General Manager. He later worked at BMC Power as R&D Director and Deputy General Manager, before joining TUSAS Engine Industries Inc. (TEI) as Turboshaft Program Director and R&D Director.

From 2021 to 2022, he served as President of Turkish Aerospace Academy and subsequently as Deputy General Manager for Helicopters.

As of the Board of Directors’ decision dated June 11, 2024, Demiroğlu continues to serve as the General Manager of Turkish Aerospace.
