ANKA III HITS THE BULLSEYE.

ANKA III Unmanned Combat Aerıal Vehicle Achieves Precision in Live-Fire Testing

Having successfully completed its maiden flight on December 28, 2023, the ANKA III, developed by Turkish Aerospace using national resources, continues to excel in its live-fire testing campaign.

Designed with a distinctive delta-wing configuration, ANKA III has initiated live munitions testing to validate its weapon-carrying capabilities for military operations. Featuring low radar visibility, high-speed performance enabled by its turbofan engine, and exceptional payload capacity via internal weapon bays, ANKA III is setting a new benchmark in its class. During 12 flight sorties, the aircraft demonstrated pinpoint accuracy, delivering the domestically developed TEBER-82 guided bomb, engineered by ROKETSAN, to the target with 100% precision.

Following this success, ANKA III undertook another milestone, this time integrating the TOLUN munition, developed by ASELSAN. During a live-fire trial at the Konya Karapınar Firing Range, the aircraft once again showcased its capabilities, achieving millimetric accuracy and successfully completing the test.

The ANKA III program, which transformed from concept to reality in an impressively short timeframe thanks to the tireless efforts of nearly 250 engineers and technicians, leverages cutting-edge technologies such as AI-assisted modeling, advanced simulation, and flight control systems. In its armed configuration, ANKA III is capable of carrying munitions across multiple stations: up to 650 kilograms in each of its two internal bays, 650 kilograms on each of its inner wing pylons, and 100 kilograms on each of its outer wing pylons.

Beyond reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence missions, ANKA III is now poised to serve in strike operations, solidifying its position as a versatile and formidable asset for modern military applications.
