Turkish Aerospace showcased its state-of-the-art platforms, developed entirely in-house, at the IDEAS International Defense Exhibition held from November 19 to 22 in Karachi, Pakistan.
IDEAS 2024, one of the region’s most significant defense exhibitions, is organized biennially. This year, under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and with support from the Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters Association (SSI), Turkish Aerospace participated alongside 21 Turkish companies.
At its exhibition booth, Turkish Aerospace presented 1:7 scale models of its flagship platforms, including the Turkish Fighter KAAN, HÜRJET Advanced Jet Trainer, T625 GÖKBEY Multirole Utility Helicopter, T129 ATAK Multirole Combat Helicopter, and unmanned aerial vehicles such as ANKA, AKSUNGUR, and ANKA III.
Turkish Aerospace President and CEO Dr. Mehmet Demiroğlu engaged in high-level discussions at the event, meeting with Pakistan’s Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammed Asif, Chief of Air Staff General Zaheer Ahmad Baber Sidhu, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Commander of the Army Major General Nadeem Yousuf. During these meetings, Dr. Demiroğlu provided detailed insights into TUSAŞ’s innovative product lineup, further strengthening the ties between Türkiye and Pakistan in the defense and aviation sectors.
