TURKISH AEROSPACE DELIVERS ITS 100TH HELICOPTER

Since its establishment in 1973, Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) has continuously contributed to the aviation ecosystem with its original platforms, leveraging its accumulated experience. Within the framework of signed contracts, all production and testing phases of the Multirole Combat Helicopter T129 ATAK and the T70 Utility Helicopter, developed under the main contractorship of TUSAŞ, have been completed by TUSAŞ, resulting in the delivery of a total of 100 helicopters to users to date.

On August 6th, a ceremony held at TUSAŞ facilities marked the delivery of the third T70 Utility Helicopter to the Air Force Command. With this latest delivery, the total number of T129 ATAK Light Attack Helicopters and T70 Utility Helicopters delivered has reached 100.

As per the agreement, 109 T70 Utility Helicopters are to be produced under license in Türkiye and delivered to six different users under the main contractorship of TUSAŞ.

Deliveries of the Multirole Combat Helicopter T129 ATAK, produced domestically with national capabilities by TUSAŞ under a contract signed with the Secretariat of Defence Industries on September 7, 2007, continue both domestically and internationally.
