TURKISH AEROSPACE HOLDS HÜRKUŞ CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL TO MARK ITS 53RD ANNIVERSARY
TURKISH AEROSPACE HOLDS HÜRKUŞ CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL TO MARK ITS 53RD ANNIVERSARY
As part of the celebrations marking the 53rd anniversary of Turkish Aerospace’s establishment, the HÜRKUŞ Children’s Festival was held at Başkent National Garden to increase children’s interest in aviation and space and inspire the aviators of the future.
During the event, 10,000 kites took to the skies. The hexagonal kites distributed to children featured designs of Turkish Aerospace’s indigenous platforms, the HÜRKUŞ New Generation Basic Trainer Aircraft and the T625 GÖKBEY General Utility Helicopter. This gave children the opportunity to get to know Turkish Aerospace and its products up close.
Throughout the day, special stage performances, games and quiz competitions were organized for children.
